The Foundry
Worship Times...
Wednesday evening @ 6:15pm - Every Wednesday the youth meet in the Foundry to worship and praise Christ. Weekly youth services consist of live worship with the youth band, an in-depth bible-based lesson from the minister of students, Justin Gambrell, and an invitation. Some weeks these services are held in the community or are followed by planned special events so check the calender or Facebook page to keep yourself up to date.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:15am - Sunday school is held in the foundry for all grade levels from seventh to twelfth grade; join us every Sunday morning and dive deep into God's word. Breakfast is provided prior to class each week in the Foundry as well. Check the calender for special events that might be planned for the youth on Sunday afternoons such as bible studies or ministry opportunities.
The Foundry is the home and ministry of the students of Cinco Baptist Church, compelling students to make a lasting impression of Christ in their surrounding community, as well as their own lives. Through service, worship, bible study, prayer, and friendships, the Foundry enlivens individuals to put their faith into practice everyday by establishing connections with their peers and most importantly, with God. The key verse for the foundry can be found in Proverbs, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another"(Proverbs 27:17).
Our mission as a ministry of Cinco Baptist Church is to create relationships with and among the students in order to show each one of them the love of Christ and to illustrate to them their worth and importance as followers of Christ Jesus. What King Solomon wrote thousands of years ago still applies today, only through fellowship with believers can we truly grow as followers of Christ.
