Wednesday Fellowship Supper - The class serving this week is Adult 2 CO2- Shearer. Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and dessert will be served. Children’s Menu this week will remain the same as the regular menu.  Cost for children 5 and under is $1.00 per child, and person ages 6 and up eat for $3.00 each. Maximum charges incurred by a family will not exceed $12.00.  Reservations and cancellations must be made by noon on Tuesday. Those who do not call to cancel will be charged for the missed meal.

JESUS:  A Harmony of the Gospels - This study will investigate the life and teachings of Jesus as described in the four Gospels of the New Testament.  The study is based on the Holman Christian Standard Bible’s Harmony of the Gospels and is held on Wednesdays, from 6:15pm-7:15pm in Room 310.  David Uhrig is facilitating this study.

Educator Appreciation Sunday - We would like to honor those teachers, teacher’s aides, administrative staff, specialists, and all others who work within the public and private school system today during the 8:15am and 10:30am Worship Services.

Breakfast Burrito Fundraiser - Todd Davis will be selling Breakfast Burritos on this morning in order to defray the cost of a mission trip to Ecuador in September.  Burritos will be served on a first come first serve basis outside of the Fellowship Hall before Sunday School.

Creative Arts - The Creative Arts Ministry will be hosting a recruiting party on Monday, August 18 at 6:30pm in the Choir Room.  Anyone interested in being involved in this ministry is encouraged to attend this party.

Dinner and a Movie - This month’s Dinner and a Movie will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 6:00pm in the Kidd Street Center.  This free family night out will include pizza and the film “Legend of the Viking Cross.”  Childcare will be provided for those who call to make reservations by noon on Monday, August 18.  If you plan on attending this event, please call the Church Office during the week to ensure the proper amount of pizza will be ordered.

Worship Choir - The Worship Choir will host a recruiting party on Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30pm in the Choir Room.  Everyone interested in the Worship Choir is invited to join in on this night’s festivities.

Children’s Neighborhood - Cinco Baptist Church will be hosting guests from the “Children’s Neighborhood” on Sunday, August 24 at 6PM.  The evening will include special music as well as hearing about this new ministry in our local area.  A special offering will be received to benefit this ministry.

Women’s Ministry - Women’s Ministry Night Out - “Let’s Play Bunko” will be held Friday, August 29 at 6:30PM in the Kidd Street Center.  Bring snacks to share!  Childcare provided by reservation only.  Call the Church Office to make childcare reservations no later than Monday, August 25.

Legacy Luncheon - All senior aged adults are invited to a monthly luncheon on Thursday, August 21 at 12:00pm in the Kidd Street Center.  Please bring a covered dish and a friend to share in this wonderful afternoon of fellowship.

AWANA Open House - Church-wide Open House for AWANA will be held tonight at 5:00pm in the Fellowship Hall and all church members are encouraged to participate.  The night’s activities will include a guided tour of handbook time, counsel time and game time.  A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

Back to School Party - A “Back to School Party” for Kid’s Choir will be held Wednesday, August 20 at 6:00PM in the Choir Room.  Kid’s Choir is for children in 1st through 6th grades.

Preschool Choir - Preschool Choir will resume on Wednesday, August 20 at 6:15PM in Room 311.  This choir is for children age 3k through Kindergarten.

Teachers Needed - Teachers and helpers are needed for Preschool through 6th Grade Sunday School Classes.  Contact Dawn Hutchison if you can help.

Youth Visitation - Youth Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 19 at 6:00pm beginning in the Foundry.  Anyone interested in making new friends is encouraged to attend.

Student Choir - The youth ministry will begin a Student Choir for students from 7th-12th grade.  This will be held on Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm and will begin on Sunday, August 24.  Refreshments and fellowship will be provided weekly.  Please see Justin or Tim for further details.
